1. I’ll write your book.
Books are a great way to create instant credibility as well as explain your expertise and capabilities. Books are like the modern day business card and can launch your business in a big way.
Ghostwriting for business is not what you might think it is. It’s not like you are dictating the book; that’s too much work on your part. It’s also allowing another author to write the next american novel and sticking your name on it; that’s just not honest.
Ghostwriting for business means that someone takes your thriving business model and explains it for the world to understand. That way potential customers can celebrate your success, partner with you in business, and understand that your products and services are exactly what they need.

However, you may be too busy running your business to spend time writing your book. That’s where a ghost writer comes in. I’ve written many books, reports, white papers, and more. There are so many ghost writers out there, so I am honored that we may potentially work together. You might be one of those who find writing writing to be xtremely difficult and time consuming. Below you can see three estimates. If you decide to hire me, I’ll pour my heart and soul into this project. If not, no issues and no pressure at all.
If we work together, I’ll start with a proposal of how long I believe the book should be, your potential market, and finally your quotes.
I believe your book idea for your business is a great product for you to provide to potential clients to describe your work. Some projects require shorter books, while some may require more traditional book formatting.
We can work together to determine the best approach for a competitive book that will do well against the other books and bring you more business.
What does a full book look like?
Books I publish are traditionally 6 inches wide and 9 inches tall and are roughly 65,000+ words and up to 300 pages. However, I can write books of any size and length.
How many hours does it take to write an average length book?
I estimate a book of 70,000 words or 275 pages could take 350 to 500 hours to complete (give or take a few hours).
So this could take about 6-8 months to write and provide you with something you can be proud of. During this time I may need to interview you to get some details, but for the most part, I’ll do all the research necessary to answer the question, “What’s the best book and format for my business?”.
The quote. I will provide a well written and edited manuscript with front and back print cover, editing, and publishing. You will be the author on credit and you can control all aspects of the published book.
My quotes are in the lower range for those charged by experienced authors. I have written many books in this page count range and all of them have become Amazon #1 best sellers in their categories. I’ve also assisted other authors in their book marketing efforts landing them also a few #1 spots. Your product will be used as a revenue generating book with the potential increase your current business capabilities.
Here are four options ranging from most expensive to least costly. Whichever option you choose, you should make your investment back in short order though client buy in.
Option 1: Your book at 70,000 words or 275 pages. This will involve up to 350 to 500 hours of writing and research.
Option 2: Your book at 35,000 words or 135 pages. This will involve up to 350 hours of writing and research.
Option 3: Your book at 18,000 words or around 75 pages. This will involve up to 200 hours of writing and research,.
Option 4: Your book at 9,000 words or around 30 pages. This will involve up to 100 hours of writing and research.
Option 5: Were you looking for something else? If I’ve missed the mark on what you are looking for, please let me know and I’ll get back on track.
Schedule for Options 1-3:
Write book outline and deliver for approval – 2 weeks from contract date. Once I deliver the outline, I will ask for 10% of the payment.
Deliver Chapters to you for your approval. I plan to deliver a minimum of one draft chapter each week. On delivery of the middle chapter (halfway through the book), I will ask for 40% (total of 50% of the agreed upon amount).
Deliver final draft for review before editing sequence. I will deliver final chapter for your review. At this point, I will ask for 35% (total of 75% of the agreed upon amount). Here you will have two opportunities to make content changes. Once approved, I’ll send it to a professional editor.
Professional cover. I will provide professional cover services. You will be the final approver of the cover. Once cover is approved. I will ask for final amount. At that point the manuscript and book will be complete.

- discuss publishing technicalities and requirements for books. ISBNs, Copyright, and where to get them
- tell the world about you. Build the author profile, and other details about you and your book
- set up author profiles on the right websites and social media
- connect your book with spin offs, freebies and other marketing techniques
- Regroup and make publishing decisions. What adjustments you should make to get your book published
- learn marketing options for your book. Creating the press kit, social media announcements, and final publishing plans
- wrap up and set up individual follow up times
